Make one list for the whole home.

Are you planning a renovation, replacing heating or cooling equipment, or adding something new? Collect those plans in one place before discussing solar. The aim is to give everyone working on the house the same starting information.

Coordinate the questions.

Ask each professional which parts of their work depend on another project. Put unresolved questions into a shared list. Avoid assuming that two separate proposals have accounted for each other.

Plan the order of decisions.

A short conversation about timing can help you understand what needs to be decided first. Ask who is coordinating the work and how changes will be communicated. A clear process is valuable even when a project is still exploratory.
